Hey Cobra, can you rename a car club?

I was just thinking, since we have a "clan tag" on our names with the car club memberships, it would be cool to be [URL] Pyro, etc.

The other nice thing about the car club is the club garage idea. If it works the way I think it will, someone can build a car, and we can all drive it at the same time. Making an interesting spec race, or if we ran general population, it could be a uniform car or uniform paint job.

The cars I've added are a little varied. The Volt was just because that car is so... Interesting to use. The Caddy should be a good A car, but I haven't really tested it. The C1 Corvette is an awesome C class car, it has won me a LOT of races.

I will add my Chevy Spark soon. It wont let me add cars with purchased paint jobs, so I will either have to come up with something or put a plain color back on it. The Spark as an F class car in it's current build, will take the lead by turn 1 depending on the competition. If not, you will have the lead by turn 4. I have been winning my races with that car by about 1000-1200ft consistently.

I cannot change the clan tag. :(

Looks like we'll have to create a new club to have the URL tag.

URL clan tag is taken, so the new car club is URL1.

I sent you both an invite.

EDIT: Also... I am limited to 20 characters, so the club name is "Underground Racing L"
Any ideas on how to improve that? (Because that CAN be edited.)

I'd just drop the "L" and call it "Underground Racing"

I know you two have probably heard me talking endlessly about it, but I finally added the Chevy Spark to the club garage. I highly recommend that you use it for F class races because it is so dominant.

Without exaggeration, you will have the lead after turn one of you drive aggressively, or by the end of the lap if you drive conservatively. It's faster in both strait line acceleration and cornering speed than the competition.

If the game ever presents me with a Class F race, I'll definitely use it.

I haven't figured out how to go back to previous races yet for the World Tour... Or do I just have to race in Free Race?

The game gives you options based on what car you're currently in. If you jump in the Spark, it will show you F class races.

Ok, I've spent entirely too much time buying up and building up most if not all of the "Muscle Cars" in the game currently.

A handful of them have been shared with the club garage. Standing as either...
Class A: Race and Drag cars.
Class S: Drag cars

Again...any tuning sets for Drag cars would be greatly appreciated. Pyro and I ran some Drag races and have gotten some ideas from that, but I know there's more. I know there's a way to get some good highlight reels with wheelie poppin. :drive:

I will continue to pour into the garage, if there are any Manufacturers or specific cars either of you would like to see in there just let me know. If Affinity level is up there, it'll be there shortly. Otherwise, I spent all my money.

The V8 Supercars are going to need a different set up. Maybe tweeked just a bit for me. I've tried running them without TC, but I loose so much time exiting the corners.

Still enjoy the Daytona Coupe. Not a lot of power, but sufficent. Allowing for quicker throttle down exiting the corners. Do either of you (Pyro, Cobra) run without ABS?

NO! lol.

I run ABS but no TCS. I haven't run the V8 supercar that I got yet, but I should be able to help you out a little with the setup tonight.

I sent an invite to Warning66, a friend of mine who is would like to try racing us seriously. He's not overly fast, but has room for improvement.

The Club Garage is a little buggy right now... We may have to purge it or something. All of the cars I've added recently have shown up as black icons with no info until you click on it. I wonder if we just have too many on there? It would be nice to stick with 2-3 cars per class or something. I have still been abusing the F races, but I have a very nice S Viper and R3 Ford GT. (Been working on an R2 Corvette, but she's a little wild yet.)

I've noticed the "thing" with the garage. Not sure what's going on. Need to spend some time researching with Turn 10. Yeah, we can always clear the garage out. If needed, I'm guessing  we can put any vehicle back into the garage.

I will be looking forward to some running around tonight. Now, to get the kid off my 360 and back onto his own. :hit:

ABS I do use. Generally the only assist I use. TCS will be turned on come R2 and R1 possibly. I used it in Forza 3, maybe try and sway away from it this time. Do you tinker with your Differential settings at all? I was driving your Cadillac earlier today and it felt like a default setting. :drive:

Haven't been online really at all, so maybe one of you know or have raced.

Nustyl mentioned last night that a guy would be joining the URL that he works with that races Forza. goes by Big Daddy I think.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
BUT Torque is how far you take the wall with you!!
