Finally a real well written artical about what I've been saying for years about most of the cars in sims.

http://www.racedepartment.com/2013/12/a ... cing-sims/

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
BUT Torque is how far you take the wall with you!!

Agreed! If they listen to the majority we'll end up with Need For Speed simulator.

Though there is a world of difference between driving an old death trap or street car and a modern race car. The whole point of the all the work that engineers do is to make it easier for the drivers to control the car at the limit so they can focus on getting the car where they want it. Remember back to the SSCA Corvette GT, it wasn't easy to drive at 100% but when it was set up right it didn't fight you either. And if you backed off just that little bit it was as tame as a kitten.

I just always hated driving anything that had that engineer smell. Give me a car built with passion by an ape any day. LOL
