When first playing the game, I was thinking it was pretty easy though a lot of fun. I'm in the middle of Season 7 "The Masters" and I can tell you the difficulty ramps up pretty steeply!!

How about you? At what point in World Tour has the difficulty seemed to increase over previous seasons?

I have noticed some of the races get considerably harder in season 6, but it was nothing that a different car or car build, and a little more aggression couldn't fix.

When worse comes to worse, the crome horn and 8-wheel turns will make a big difference.

The AI doesn't get the same courtesy that I give to live people. ;)

I probably noticed around Season 5. Although, I set up my cars generally better handling, less power. Not always the wiser choice when running Sebring Short against muscle cars.

I have regretably settled for second half a dozen times running through the seasons, but that can't happen if shooting for achievements.

What total percentage boost do you have when running the Seasons? Difficulty percentage boost that is.

I'm 105% right now.

Cobra, for R3 races, try the Ford GT that I have uploaded right now. It is a VERY stable car that I think will help you win those races.

No wonder you don't run a Wheel. You're using up all your room with Game Consoles. PS3, Xbox, Wii. Probably a PC in there too? :D

:haha: Jeez I feel left out. Here I only have 3 different Xboxs with one downstairs that needs a disc drive. Not to mention looking to pick one up next month so I can have the new style. Oh my, maybe I should invest in something different.

In total I have 2 Xbox 360s, 1 Xbox original,, 1 PS1, 2 PS2s, 2 PS3s, 1 desktop PC, and 2 laptop PCs.

Of the two PS3s, one is fat one is slim. Same with the Xbox 360s.

Ok. Over half way thru the 9th Season. Difficulty still sitting at 130%. It's been tough arguing with myself on wether or not to use TC. R3 is becoming more comfortable, but R2 on the other hand is a bit much to hold on to. :drive:

For those interested, the Difficulty settings in Forza 4 are as follows.

Braking Assisted/ABS On/Off 0, +10%, +20%
Steering Assisted/Normal/Simulation 0, +10%, +20%
Stability Control On/Off 0, +10%
Traction Control On/Off 0, +15%
Shifting Auto/Manual/Manual w/clutch 0, +15%, +20%
Suggested Line Full/Braking Only/Off 0, +10%, +20%
Damage, Fuel & Tire Wear
Cosmetic/Limited/Simulation 0, 10%, +15%
Rewind On/Off 0, +20%
Career Bonus World Tour +25%

My ABS is on for the higher classes, my shifting is Manual. Hopefully w/clutch come another wheel this holiday season. And...my rewind is on. Yeah, sometimes you just run into those situations.

I run automatic, ABS, braking line, and rewind.

Nothing will calm you down as much as T-boning the AI at 150+ 2 or 3 dozen times and rewinding for no ill effect on the race. :haha:
