Sprint cars are not commonly built here. Maybe twice a decade. The new car is a Steele frame not made by us, but is going to be one of the two house cars this year. I missed the part where they filled one of the framerails with lead buckshot to get closer to the minimum weight.Jammer @ Mar 23 2012, 12:05 PM wrote: wait a minute pyro - i thought it was only engines in your world. you build sprints from scratch too? I'm embarrassed.... Seriously - a sand buggy to a sprint car - You just took her to whole new level. anyway - never would of guessed engines have aluminum pistons ???? can they withstand the heat?
and another thing - just let me continue to embarrass myself..... whatever you call those intakes (velocity stacks?) what no air cleaner on a dirt track
teach me - i only need to be told once
LOL WOW! Jammer every vehicle you've owned and even your lawn mower has aluminum pistons. I can't think of anything that doesn't including F1 to air compressors.Jammer @ Mar 23 2012, 10:05 AM wrote: anyway - never would of guessed engines have aluminum pistons ???? can they withstand the heat?
