Hey Chaps

Anybody want to enter a team for this? Using the updated URD Mod at a 'new' Suzuka. Unlimited amount of drivers per team, basically a friendly.

I know the times may be a problem for you guys on the wrong side of the world, but its early morning I think for most of the Americas.

We did two races like this years ago. It would be cool to see a URL team run this. Though not sure how many guys are playing rF2.

Would be fun to have another go at it. Like Mick said we do did do this years ago at Fuji. We practiced for a month for it. Think it was the same name of the group that ran that one too. I still have not updated RF2 yet, should maybe do that some time here.

Funny story about that event, I practiced and did driver swaps with the guys but the race was on a Saturday, same day as my anniversary and my wife was pissed that I'd even think that taking two whole hours out of the day to sim race was going to be ok, so no I didn't sign up to race. Turns out she got sick and we did nothing that day, could have raced. So I watched live timing and scoring from time to time and checked in with our teamspeak too. Jammer was the later in the day driver after Mick started us and someone else raced also, anyways I think we were 2nd or 3rd in class when Jammer took over, he got 5mins into his two hour stint and then I noticed he wasn't racing anymore, our car was in the garage. There was a hurricane going on on the east coast and he lost power or disco'ed.

Turns out besides Jammers storm issues there were guys getting disco'ed right and left throughout the event when driver swapping. In the end only handful finished. After that event they never ran another Enduro and lots of infighting amongst the organizers.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
BUT Torque is how far you take the wall with you!!

I ran the last stint of the SSCA Silverstone 6 hour (with stuff all experience) with Vance's team Triple P Racing.

The Fuji race we prepared heavily for. Nustyl was the other GT driver. Apex240 ran in the LMP with Vance's team. PG was the best team pit crew/spotter anyone could ask for. I remember how crazy it felt to be fighting for position with people that were known in the sim community. We were 5th in class after we fought back from my penalty (same as qualifying position). But, like KJ said, we ended up disconnecting with both our cars (LMP and GT). Sadly, I lost the replay file years ago.
